Las Vegas

So I know this is a little late. But enjoy. This was when we were on our way to AZ at the beginning of the summer. My brother and sister in law decided last minute to meet us there. 

Wreath and Happy 5 years to US!!

So I just did this wreath and I am loving it. Take a look. 

I just love knocking on my own door now. ;) On another note, John and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary last week. John was so much more on the ball than me.... me, well.... I dropped it, kicked it, it was hit by a bus and eaten by a dog.... ;)

First off he let me sleep in a little, and then I woke up to breakfast in bed, with a rose and a note on the tray. Then as I went around the house there was other roses with notes on them as well. Like on our key hanging thingy.... 

On my purse.....

And of course this on the kitchen table...

 After retrieving the last one that was tied to my steering wheel, there was 3 dozen roses. Am I the luckiest in the world or what. I sure love my husband. He is the perfect one for me. Yes, I know this is a sappy post. If you don't like it... well, to bad. Thanks John for a memorable anniversary. I will do better next year! P.S. John took all the pictures of the roses except this last one. Just sayin... :)

Whats been happening....

So its been a while. I have a TON to update the blog with which I will try to do over the next few days. Here is a little of what happened at the beginning of the summer.

This is one of my good friends here in Moscow and the boy is one of Elvin and Camden's best friends. These are probably some of my favorites from their shoot. Go and check out her and the rest of her spectacular family HERE.

Even a 3 year old can do this... Happy 4th!

If this does not make you stand up and cry cheer I do not know what will. This is my 3 year old son and he loves to say the pledge. Thank you to all the men and women who continually put themselves in harms way to protect our freedoms. This is the land of the free BECAUSE of the brave. Happy 4th of July everyone!

What I am sort of working on...Any interested?

So I have been super busy processing a few photo shoots trying to get them done. But sometimes I need a break when my photo creative juice is drying up. And today I stumbled upon a color palette that spoke to me. ;) Anyways I had this idea... take a look and tell me what you think. I have no idea why I thought of this theme as my boys are still young. But I had the idea and went with it. Well, just keep in mind this is a work in progress. If there is enough interest, I will do more and offer it for free! :) So be sure to leave a comment and let me know if you would want this. Thanks.

Elvin tells a story...

Elvin loves to tell stories and we often will take turns. I love to hear how his imagination works and it helps me to know what he is into at the time. I also love it because it is mom and Elvin time. He is so dang cute :)

Easter 2011

We did most of our Easter stuff on Saturday. But on Friday our ward had an activity and the Easter bunny came! They had so much fun!

Getting more organised

This is a screen shot of what I have done with my desktop. I had so many files and was losing track of a bunch of stuff. So I decided to get organised. I am LOVING it! Just thought I would share. 

Downloadable Scripture Felt Board Figures

So my friend Missy found this blog where THIS lady had made colored figures available for download. The stories were not printable so I went to the original sites (from the LDS church's site for the Friend magazine) and spent a long time copying and pasting so that I could have the stories that go with it. Then there is THIS site that gives you the tutorial on how to create your own felt figures using felt and iron on t-shirt transfers! WAY cheaper than buying the figures from another site already made. I cannot tell you all how excited I was that my friend Missy had found these. I have been looking for something like this FOREVER! Anyways, I made it easier for all of you to download them and print them. Just go to THIS site for the tutorial on how to make them into your fabulous new felt figures.
