I realize that some of this is from about 2-3 months ago... but I have been scrapbooking a lot this last week with John out of town for work. I am also a little behind and am getting caught up. Enjoy!

School is in session...thank goodness!

           

These boys started school and were so excited. And we were also excited because Elvin got into the Spanish immersion program at an Elementary school here. He is loving it so far. In the mean time John and I are trying to make a focused effort to speak it more in the home. When talking to the boys, the goal is to talk to them in spanish and then repeat it in English. Cross you fingers! It can be frustrating at times. Camden is also so excited because he has the same preschool teacher that Elvin had last year. So he was super comfortable with her and is already half in love with her. ;)

Date night for me and Elvin. We went to the dollar theatre and watched Turbo. Super cute by the way. Then after he picked out this giant gummy snake from the candy store. He is VERY into snakes right now and can name and describe a ton of them and of course... How each one kills differently or how poisonous each one is. I have decided to encourage his curiosity until of course he decides he wants to have one as a pet. At which point I will encourage that curiosity towards something like butterfly's or slugs. ;)

Waiting for the bus in the first day of school. I realize as I post this on my phone that I did not post his and Camdens real first day pics. I will try to do that tomorrow for my non Facebooker people. And I think the bus was what he was the most excited about.

Road trip 2013 Part I

4th of July

I am so grateful for all of the freedoms that we enjoy. We took the boys to see the fireworks. They got their faces painted and had so much fun. We had a BBQ earlier in the day and just relaxed, played in the pool... All in all a nice way to celebrate this day. 

Warmer weather here we come...

The shrink ray!

This is what happens when you watch five kids in my little house... The little devil in all of us comes out. ;) Me and this cute girl decided to have a little fun while everyone else was occupied playing Wii. (She did not want to play, aka - we did not have enough controllers) It was so fun to show her the different things that the imagination can come up with. I printed off a big 8x10 for her to take home to commemorate the occasion of her having ultimate power over her siblings. So next time I watch YOUR kids... beware what will happen. ;)
