I had to post these three pics together. This is the Mother's Day card that Elvin made for me at preschool. It melted my heart. His answers are a little... Off. But so sweet. I love his answer of why he loves me. I can tell what all is important or what means a lot to him. I also am loving his drawing of me. Totally accurate. ;)

A glimpse..
Just a glimpse into our life this past week. The weather has been awesome! We are so excited. I know there will probably be a cold front soon. But we are enjoying the rare sunshine while it lasts. We found the boys these new swim suit sets at Costco for a good deal. They keep wanting to wear them all day and everywhere we go. There are worse things I guess... :)
We also had some fun at the park with a picnic. All in all... We cannot wait to put up the pool.

Two things..
My sister in law found these apple slicers at Dillard's for like $10!! They are the coolest thing since sliced bread. The boys love to eat them after we slice them with this. It cores, peels, and cuts the apple into one long chain basically. Thy even love to eat the peel which ends up as a long skinny strand. And dehydrating apples is going to be a cinch this year. IN. LOVE. The other pic is what we discovered while visiting our friends Adam and Miriam. Betty Crocker Mac and cheese. It is so yummy. It tasted like homemade! Even I loved it. And it was only .48 a box!! We love, love, love the grilled cheese flavored one. They have original and cheese pizza which we will be trying. I think a big part of it is how they have you cook it. It's different. And I am sure its just as "healthy" as the kraft stuff. ;) Anyways, go try it. You can thank me later. ;) hopefully all the apples we are eating will balance all the Mac and cheese!

Blast from the past!
While in Arizona this week visiting family I have been working on some pages for my mission scrapbook. This is about the only time of year I get to work on it because I do not have that much yet for my family scrapbook. I love looking through the pictures and reading in my journal about certain events. It reminds me how much my mission really influenced me. I think that I forget sometimes. I am so excited to see all the changes that the dropping of the ages for missions is going to bring.

Better late than never...
Yes, I know that it is March. But I have been doing some pages and wanted to put them up. So here is a little recap from last years holidays. Enjoy!

Since John had to work all day today I wanted to do something different. Something that would get us out of the house, get energy out of the boys, something special. And something that did not require a lot of energy out of me as Camden has been waking up a million times a night. We played outside this morning then hit the road. So after visiting Pets Mart in the hopes of them petting some dogs (epic fail by the way. They did not have any dogs nor any animals to pet) we went to Chucky Cheese's. the boys loved it. They each got 10 tokens. And at the end they only ended up with like 55 tickets. Which they could have bought a piece of licorice with... Or ONE package of smarties. (Insert sarcastic comment here) But as we were waiting in line a nice lady gave us her tickets because they had to leave. Well she gave us like 400 tickets. I thought it was really nice of her. Really really nice. And the boys were happy we were able to get a few more prizes. I love it when nice people do nice things. Makes me want to pay it forward. And it makes me want to be that first nice person. It made me think... How such small acts of kindness can affect people.
On a totally different note. I finally managed to capture Camden and immortalize how he always eats pizza... Upside down. I think it's hilarious. We have tried to get him to eat it the other way but he refuses. Even while complaining because his cheese is always falling off. Go figure.
