OUR NEW ADDITION

So our newest family member finally came! He came super fast. The doctor got there just in time to catch. The labor went ok. The worst part was that when we were done I was a human pin cushion! It took them five try's to get my IV in. And then 4 holes in my spine for the epidural-and it still did not work! But I am still alive. Camden is doing great. Growing so much already. He has surpassed his birth weight. And I am feeling good. Recuperating nicely. I have a really great husband who has been helping out so much and my mother in law was here and she was a HUGE help too.
And Elvin is.....adjusting to being a big brother. He is still learning the meaning of SOFT and not to point out Camden's eyes by poking them.
So all in all, we are all doing great and having fun with a little baby in the house again.

This is the latest addition to our family: Camden Jared Whetten, born on July 9, 2009. Isn't he just adorable?

Moving to Moscow Idaho

Here is Elvin at our stop in Idaho Falls where his friend Quinton lives. They had a lot of fun catching up. They have not seen each other in a year! Elvin had a lot to babble about.
Quinton, Elvin and Elvin's cousins Creed and Piper. They all sat at the big kids table.

UH OH! Someone found the vacuum! His cousin Creed had a toy vacuum as well. Elvin prefered the real one. But then we had to fight to get it away from him!
We stopped in Manti UT at our friend's house. Jenny and Shem have three girls. Elvin was having a blast playing and dancing with them. Here they are at breakfast. Maddie, Abbie, and Emmy. Elvin is just living it up surrounded by cute girls!
Day after moving at Grandpa and Grandma's house in Flagstaff on the way up to Moscow ID to live so John can go to Grad school. My boys are all tuckered out!
Minnie took a quick family picture of us. It has been a long time since we have taken a family picture of us. And soon there will be one more addition!
There are my handsome boys! How cute they are.

Here I am at 29 weeks. Kara and I are racing-we will see who delivers first! Vote for me, Vote for me!

Mamma's Helper

The vacuum is Elvin's favorite toy. He could "play" for hours if I let him.
Man have I got him trained or what! He can even turn it on and off by himself.
This is what happens when mom puts the vacuum away. Poor boy!

Picnic at the Park

It was such a nice day!
We decided to go to the park for a picnic.

Elvin found some eggs! We tried to get him to look for some of the others but as soon as Grandma opened one up and he saw the candy, he would not let go of them.
